Pearls Reader

‘Pears Reader’ is an innovative Pre-Primary resource that includes a series of multi-skill learner-friendly exercises which are graded from simple to complex, ensuring a smooth transition in the development of motor and linguistic skills. 

The book has a Starter which aims at introducing the language content.

Listen and Recite: Under this component, through rhymes and songs, the theme of the lesson as well as the new language material is introduced to learners.

Trace and Colour: Colour and Say; Match and Say: These components are designed for introducing and practising relevant vocabulary.

Read and Repeat: This activity is meant to train learners in reading aloud with proper pronunciation.

Read and Underline: This activity is designed to provide practice in silent reading and comprehending the text accurately. It also makes learners focus their attention on the new vocabulary.

Read and Say: It aims at introducing and drilling active vocabulary so as to enable learners read fluently.

Touch and Say: This activity enables learners to learn new words and phrases.

Fun Time: The concepts, skills and the language learnt in the lesson, are further consolidated through various activities (including a Board Game at the end of the book).
