About the book
New Approach to Social Science is a new comprehensive series of social science for classes 6–8. The books are based on the latest syllabus and guidelines provided by NCERT. Divided into three sections—History, Civics and Geography, each section and chapter is developed in a concise manner in which topics are taken through colourful illustrations, pictures, maps, graphs, etc.
Current topics like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in class–6, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao in class–7 and Demonetisation and GST in class–8 have been specially introduced.
Activities and exercises provided in the book help the students to work independently.
